PATH Tehama County - Poor And The Homeless, Tehama County Coalition
The Free S.H.A.R.E.S. Card Is Now Cardless!

S.H.A.R.E.S. is an acronym for Supporting Humanities, Arts, Recreation, Education & Sports. This program allows the people of the community to support local organizations such as PATH.

Here's how you can help:

The S.H.A.R.E.S. program no longer uses a card. Instead, when you go to FoodMaxx to buy your groceries, you will need to type in your phone number on the credit card key pad.

To register your phone number, visit, then click on “Sign up” over on the right of the screen, and fill in the questionnaire. Be sure to say that you want to support Poor And The Homeless Tehama County Coalition. I’m not sure if typing in P.A.T.H. will work.

If you don’t have a computer, you can go to the library, ask a friend with a computer to register you, or call me at the number below and I can register you. Also, please help us spread the news. Some people have our cards, and are not on our mailing list. If you use Facebook or any other media, please tell your friends about it.

Your use of the S.H.AR.E.S. cards has brought in about $10,000 a year. We are hopeful that we will be able to successfully make this transition. Thank you for your support.

As an added incentive to sign-up, the top ten organizations that accumulate the most Shares powered by eScrip contributions for the month of April will receive a package of four weekend tickets to NASCAR’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 race in June at Sonoma Raceway. These tickets can help P.A.T.H. raise more money, possibly through a raffle.

Before paying for your groceries, type in your registered phone number at any Food Maxx, Lucky, Save More or Smart Foods. The store donates 3% of your purchases directly to P.A.T.H.!
